The EarthX ETX1200-24-VNT is designed to start a turbine with a power output of up to 300A. It is fully regulated by an integrated battery management system (BMS) that protects the battery cells from overcharging, deep discharge, short circuit, and excessive temperature, and ensures that the charge status of the cells is balanced. In addition to the integrated BMS, this battery also has a thermal spread protection and venting function, in accordance with the specifications for lithium batteries in aircraft according to DO-311 and DO-160.

The ETX series starter batteries also feature redundant electronic circuits and an LED display for battery faults. The fault indicator can be connected to an EFIS or connected to a 12-volt LED indicator on your control panel to alert you to the battery's state of charge and health.
