The earthX backup battery ETX104 is a lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePO4) with 4Ah capacity, designed for emergency power supply of your critical loads. This battery can be used with any size charging system due to the inbuilt current limiter to protect against high discharge/charge current. This is not a starter battery.

This battery is fully protected by an integrated battery management system (BMS) that protects the cells from deep discharge, overcharge, short circuit and temperature and performs cell equalisation to ensure that the state of charge is the same. In addition, the ETX Hundred series batteries have redundant electronic circuits and a battery fault indicator. The fault indicator can be connected to your EFIS or connected to a 12 volt LED light on your control panel to inform you of the charge level and condition of the battery. (See manual for details)
