Omnidirectional transponder rod antenna in the proven sleeve design (monopole with choke sleeve). Reliable omnidirectional radiation for transponder and ADS-B operation. A particular advantage of the sleeve design: it needs no counterpoise (no separate ground plane) and can therefore be integrated fully and easily into the fuselage - with no antenna parts protruding. This is aerodynamically clearly superior and therefore especially popular on aircraft with high aerodynamic performance.
